Cultural representation
Archie1234567· Review provided by myer.com.au · November 21, 2024
outfit truly captures the elegance and vibrancy of Indian culture. The lehenga design is stunning, with the perfect combination of traditional motifs and modern sophistication. It's heartwarming to see such representation in a Barbie doll, especially for a festival as special as Diwali. This doll is not just a collectible but also a beautiful way to celebrate diversity and share cultural stories.
[Rewarded Review] Lovely Doll - Horrible Packaging
BakerMom· Review provided by walmart.com · November 25, 2024
Happy that I received my pre-order doll even after it was delayed. However, the packaging and box were completely damaged. Since it is an exclusive, designer item, I really wanted to be able to store it in the lovely box it came in. That isn't a possibility as the entire thing came smashed, ripped and torn. Luckily the doll itself wasn't damaged and the pieces were all still inside. Definitely wasn't what I was expecting.
South Asian Barbie!!
Browngirl101· Review provided by myer.com.au · December 23, 2024
We finally have a South Asian Barbie that isn't just an Indian stereotype! She is absolutely stunning and the fact that this is an Anita Dongre Collab absolutely blows my mind! Disappointed at all the Barbie collectors buying her up though because this doll belongs in the hands of all the little South Asian girls who are finally being represented as the gorgeous princesses they are.
Diwali Barbie a collectors dream!
Danielle1966· Review provided by myer.com.au · December 20, 2024
I bought the Diwali Barbie for my Barbie collection.

She is very well made and so colourful and beautiful, her dress and face.

I feel lucky to have purchased her before being sold out.

All my friends who saw her, wanted to buy one but unfortunately she was out of stock.

I count myself lucky that I bought her in time.
