February 27, 2024TheraBreath’s Fresh Breath Icy Mint Oral Rinse has become a staple in my daily oral hygiene routine, and for good reason. From the first use, I noticed a significant improvement in my breath freshness, an effect that confidently lasts throughout the day. The icy mint flavor is powerful and invigorating, providing a crisp, clean feeling that’s quite refreshing, especially in the mornings.
One of the standout features of this mouthwash is its formula. It’s alcohol-free, which means none of the burning sensation commonly associated with other oral rinses. This makes it an excellent choice for those with sensitive mouths or who simply wish to avoid the discomfort that alcohol can cause. Additionally, the product’s commitment to being free of artificial colors and flavors aligns well with my preference for more natural oral care options.
The efficacy of TheraBreath’s Icy Mint Oral Rinse in combating bad breath is truly commendable. It utilizes oxygenating ingredients that target sulfur-producing bacteria, addressing the root cause of bad breath rather than merely masking it. This scientific approach reassures me that I’m not just getting temporary freshness but also promoting a healthier oral microbiome.
However, it’s worth noting that while the icy mint flavor is refreshing, it may be a bit intense for some users. The initial sensation can be quite strong, which, although quickly subsides, might not be to everyone’s liking. Additionally, although the product performs excellently in terms of freshness and mouthfeel, its price point is slightly higher than some of its competitors, which may be a consideration for those on a tighter budget.
In conclusion, TheraBreath’s Fresh Breath Icy Mint Oral Rinse earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me. Its effectiveness, combined with a health-conscious formulation, makes it a product I happily recommend. Despite the initial intensity of the flavor and a higher price point, its benefits in providing long-lasting fresh breath and contributing to oral health make it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to improve their oral hygiene routine.

October 29, 2024Because I do not have time to stop and brush after each meal or snack, my go-to breath freshener was Eclipse winterfresh gum. LOVED this gum!! However, the more I embarked on a healthier lifestyle, the more I did not want the aspartame in my body. I was hooked on my gum, and it was tough letting it go but I needed something healthier. So, I found TheraBreath (and Pur gum), decided to give it a try, and hoped for the best. My only thing, living alone, was how would I really know that it was working? I felt the freshness after using it, for sure. There was something very different about that freshness. But I wasn't sure about it lasting after a coffee, snack, or meal. One tip that I can give: you might get better results if you use after brushing teeth and tongue from eating breakfast. If you skip breakfast, brush, then use it, your body is still in fasting mode and releasing toxins. You may not get the best results.Anyway, my test was to use it before bed. Because most nights I sleep with the sheet over my head, I knew that if I yawned in the middle of the night, or right before rising, I could tell if my breath was still fresh or rank. You get that backdraft, so to speak, b/c the sheet is there to push your breath back in your face, lol. I did different experiments with this. I would always brush teeth and tongue, but some nights I would brush both just once and use the mouthwash. Not the best results. Some nights I would brush teeth and tongue twice and use the mouthwash. Much better results. And on days where I may have had something with mild onion or garlic and only brushed teeth and tongue once, I could still smell the residue. If twice, much better results (I always flossed btw). So, in essence, do not use this as a replacement for oral hygiene. Nevertheless, this is a great product if used in conjunction with proper oral hygiene.I have it now as a bi-monthly subscription because I never want to run out!

January 22, 2024I recently tried out the Therabreath mouthwash and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, I appreciate that it claims to be clinically proven to effectively combat bad breath. I did notice a significant improvement in my breath after using it consistently. The taste is also mild and not overpowering, which is a plus. Another aspect I liked is that it doesn't contain any artificial colors or harsh chemicals.
However, there were a couple of disappointing aspects as well. Firstly, I found that the mouthwash left a slight aftertaste that wasn't very pleasant. While it wasn't unbearable, it did linger for longer than I would have preferred. Additionally, I didn't notice a significant change in the overall cleanliness or freshness of my mouth compared to other mouthwashes I have used in the past.
Overall, I would give Therabreath mouthwash three stars. It has its positives in terms of combatting bad breath and having a mild taste, but it didn't completely live up to my expectations in terms of overall effectiveness and aftertaste.

November 2, 2024The first day I used TheraBreath, morning and evening, I was impressed! After using this product for two days my mouth tasted bad. Even water, I love ice cold water which I drink all day, tasted bad! Food tastes bad and I’m not exaggerating! I love apples, sweets, pizza, all the yummy stuff! It’s been two days since I last used TheraBreath, and only used it for two days, and everything tastes gross! Bitter and gross! Rinsing my mouth with water after brushing my teeth leaves my mouth feeling numb and tasteing bad! My 71st birthday was yesterday and after breakfast at our favorite breakfast place, I told my husband to cancel my birthday dinner at our favorite place to eat out (which we rarely do), because I didn’t enjoy breakfast because it tasted awful! Even my hot tea was bad!
I’m going back to classic, tingly Listerine mouthwash! And, hopefully, it will rid my mouth of this very unpleasant, nasty taste in my mouth!
