This pillow is the worst thing I've ever felt. I accidentally bought the wrong level of comfort and, I understand an open box may not be sanitary (although we had a similar experience with an online mattress company (who I should have bought a pillow from, in hindsight). Still, they not only gave me a new mattress but, took the old one back to dump (sadly, but it gave me such back pain). One of these pillows is still in the box, and they refused even to exchange them. I usually am very thorough in my investigation of return policy but, must have missed this one! They are not budging. I think this is a very poor choice as we will NEVER buy from them again...and will spread the word for sure! I think this is ridiculous. Especially considering it is objectively hard...like a rock! And, they say it is for side and back sleepers.....impossible!

This pillow is very supportive and it would be great if it were at least the size of a standard pillow. It's in-between the size of a standard pillow and a camping or travel pillow. I no longer wake-up from typical neck and shoulder pain due to lack of support but I still wake up because I have to in order to even slightly change positions and keep my head on the pillow. It's very frustrating to use because of it's abnormally small size. It's so small, that standard size pillow cases are huge on it and baggy. It's very annoying to try to sleep on a pillow with an excessively baggy pillowcase. I'm considering having some cases tailored to better fit the pillow but I'm hesitant because I think I'd rather just find a new pillow that offers comparable neck support and is a standard size.

I've always struggled with sleeping on my back, and the older I've gotten the bigger of an issue it's become. The design of this pillow really encourages me to sleep on my back, helping to reduce neck/back pain and improve my posture. I've never struggled with being a hot sleeper, but the cool temperature of the pillow is very noticeable.
My biggest complaint is that I wish the pillow had an indentation more in the center. My neck feels almost too propped up when I'm sleeping, and it's a little uncomfortable. Personally, I do better sleeping on my back when my face is pointed straight towards the ceiling and there is something I can lean the side of my face/head on.

I wouldn't casually recommend the pillow to someone, unless they said they had back/neck issues.

I wanted to love this neck pillow and am so disappointed. The pillow has been off-gassing and smells toxic so I washed the cover in hot as I didn't know if it was the cooling pillow cover or the pillow itself that was smelly. Unfortunately, even though the pillow cover is not cotton, you can't wash it in hot or it will shrink. Mine did and now it barely fits. It seems that a pillow cover is something you'd want to wash in hot water over time? Unfortunately, this company doesn't make pillow covers for the Tempur-Neck pillow so it can't be replaced. Also, know that the cooling pillow cover is slippery so the pillow slips from under your head at night if you move around.
